With a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Pedagogy and a background in the Performing Arts, Lauren Gates is a skilled educator who has spent more than 20 years guiding teens and adults to their fullest vocal performance potential. With her extensive, scientific knowledge of the vocal mechanism, Lauren approaches vocal training from a kinesthetic perspective based on understanding and mastering the physical processes that influence the production of sound. In addition to helping Singers meet their goals, Lauren’s techniques can also help students conquer Public Speaking challenges like nerves, volume, diction, breath management, and vocal fatigue
Lauren’s personal experience in live performance is extremely diverse, spanning from Back-up Vocals to Lead Vocals, Karaoke Hosting to Radio Hosting, Dinner Theater to Musical Theater, Choirs to Worship Teams, and also working On-Camera. Most of Lauren’s students are active vocalists who regularly participate in Karaoke, Open-Mics, Bands, Worship Teams, Choirs, and Musical Theater Productions all around the Sacramento Area. She has also worked with students in speaking fields like Radio, Telecom, and Motivational Speaking. Whatever your Vocal Goal may be, Lauren Gates can design and implement a personalized plan to help you achieve it.
